BMAT Football League
Mr Dawes reports -
The league was concluded before the end of term with the final 2 games being played side by side on the pitches at Roydon.
Going into the games, 3 schools were still able to win the league. Cooks Spinney were one of them and won a very close match v Roydon with a late goal from Ethan Whitehouse to win 1-0.
On the next pitch, the other two contenders were going head to head. Freshwaters put in a great performance and took their chances well to beat Little Parndon 4-0, with Quasim Haque and George Andreik scoring two goals each whilst Pietr Stolarek unbeatable in goal.
This meant for the second year running Freshwaters won the league on goal difference from Cooks Spinney.
It was great to see so many parents there to support their children and stay for the presentations when George & Blesson lifted to the trophy for Freshwaters.
Many thanks to Roydon school for hosting the event.
